Kaitlyn’s journey to becoming a trusted financial advisor was shaped by her diverse background in healthcare, management, and finance. A proud graduate of Duquesne University’s Mylan School of Pharmacy, she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree with a concentration in management and pharmacoeconomics. Early in her career, Kaitlyn worked as a clinical advisor, partnering with national health plans to recommend cost-saving strategies. While she found this work fulfilling, she noticed a significant gap—many healthcare professionals struggled to manage their own unique financial situations. This realization sparked a shift in her career path, as she decided to pivot from healthcare to financial planning, inspired by her father's legacy in the industry.
Since joining our firm in 2018, Kaitlyn has become an invaluable member of our team. She holds her Certified Financial Planner™ and Behavioral Financial Advisor designations, alongside her FINRA Series 7 General Securities, Series 66, and Life, Accident, and Health certifications. Kaitlyn is also an active member of the Financial Planning Association.
Kaitlyn’s approach to financial planning goes beyond just managing wealth. She is deeply passionate about helping her clients build a sustainable, values-driven financial future that aligns with their unique goals and priorities. By integrating principles of behavioral finance, Kaitlyn empowers clients to make thoughtful, values-based decisions with their money—ultimately helping them accumulate, protect, and transfer wealth in a way that provides a sense of security and long-term financial success.
Outside of her professional life, Kaitlyn is committed to making a difference in her community. She frequently hosts personal finance seminars at local universities and professional groups, providing valuable financial education to help others take control of their financial futures. In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys running and exploring the scenic outdoor trails around Pittsburgh with her husband, daughters, and their dog, Myron—named after the city’s legendary Myron Cope, of course!
